Laos
slow down in untouched Buddhist heritage
Laos offers a completely different pace from much of Southeast Asia.
It is less developed for mass tourism, with a strong backpacker culture built around mountains, rivers, waterfalls and small towns rather than beaches or big cities. It is the place to slow down, travel overland, spend time outdoors and experience a more relaxed side of the region.
